WILLIAM C. LEVEILLE
HOWLAND – William C. Leveille, 66, husband of Pamela (Campbell) Leveille, passed away Jan. 4, 2012, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born March 25, 1945, in Brockton, Mass., son of Louis and Julia (Rapsinski) Leveille.

William was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Leveille-Shorey Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, West Enfield and held the position of commander at the time of his death. He loved hunting and fishing, and traveling the Mattamiscontis Road between Lincoln and Howland looking for birds. He had a great time going to the horse races in Bangor, with his brother, Ralph.

In addition to his wife, Pamela, he is survived by two sons, Louis and Joseph of Bangor; three stepdaughters, Jennifer Banis of Carmel, Diane Lebrasseur of Greenfield and Peggy McCarty of Howland; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Gail Leveille of Howland; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandmother, Jennie; and grandfather, Louis.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at West Enfield Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in his memory to Maine Veterans Home, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
