Wayne A. Curtis

LINCOLN AND LOWELL- Wayne A. Curtis, 61, died Oct. 13, 2008 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Jan 27, 1947 in Atkinson the son of Nathanial and Beatrice (Bryant) Curtis.

He is survived by his long time companion, Myrtle Thompson; two daughters, Rita Akerson and her husband Harlan of Dexter and Diane Curtis of Stetson; one son, Wayne A Curtis, Jr. of Detroit; six grandchildren; four sisters. Shirley Springer of Passadumkeag, Madeline Ogden of Lowell, Katherine Costigan of Milford and Nancy Bradbury of Burlington; two brothers, Harold "Warren" Curtis and Ricky Curtis, both of Lowell; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Virginia Homes; two brothers, Rodney Curtis and Nathanial Curtis Jr..

At Wayne’s request there will be no funeral. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at the Howland Cemetery. Donations may be sent to Myrtle Thompson, P.O. Box 493, Lincoln, ME 04457.
