Viola Paradis

LINCOLN - Viola E. Paradis, 87, wife of the late Thomas P. Paradis, passed away July 24, 2011, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born March 30, 1924, in Clinton, the daughter of Fred H. and Pearl B.( Jipson) Tibbetts. Viola was lifelong member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and made her Cursillo in 1978. Viola's family gives special thanks to the staff of Care Ridge Estates and Colonial Healthcare for the special care given to her.

She is survived by six children, Thomas and his wife Karen, and Pearl Smith, all of Lincoln, Sandra Barker and her husband, Gary of Enfield, Albert, and Cecil and his wife Marie, all of Lincoln and Phillip and his wife Linda of Coalmont, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and nine brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
