Travis Earl Chase

Lincoln - Travis Earl "Trap" Chase, 49, died April 11, 2008, at his home. He was born September 5, 1958, the son of Maurice and Pauline (Whitney) Chase. Travis worked in the woods and iron industry for 36 years for Ronnie and Glen Porter. He enjoyed fishing and socializing with family and friends. He was well liked and loved by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Smith and a sister, LouAnn Shorey. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Maurice and Hazel Chase; the mother of his children, Mary Chase; daughters, Ashley Chase (Ash-bug) , Amanda Chase (Pooh Bear) and Audrey Chase (Baby); his first and only granddaughter, Desirae Donath (Baby Bug); a brother, John Chase; a sister, Patty Mulligan; a step-brother, Carroll Tash; a step-sister, Peggy Drinkwater.

There will be a family gathering, to pay respects and a benefit supper to assist the family with funeral expenses, from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Rt. 2, Lincoln. "Loved and missed, always, by Ashley Amanda and Audrey" In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, to help with expenses.
