Steven G. Krapf, Jr. 23, died August 4, 2011. He was born November 14, 1987 in Lincoln to Steve Krapf and Julie (Day) Krapf.
Steven loved living in Maine and being in the outdoors – camping, fishing, climbing Mt. Katahdin, canoeing trips with his dad, riding his dirtbike, and being with family at Madagascal Lake. In 2001 he traveled cross country with his Dad on the Harley. After living in Las Vegas for 7 years he returned to Maine, graduating from Lee Academy in 2006. During the last few years Steven has been a caregiver to his mother Julie. He is remembered with love for his outgoing, fun loving, and charismatic personality and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his father Steve and his sister Jessica, his maternal grandfather Louis and Evelyn Day, his maternal grandmother Jean and Ray Fogg, his niece and goddaughter Taylor, his dad's wife Victoria Akins, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Julie, his paternal grandparents Rev. Mr. Thomas and Charlotte Krapf, and his cousin Brandon King.
A Christian burial service with Rev. Roger Cyr presiding Thursday, August 11 at 1:00pm at the Krapf Family Cemetery, Springfield, Maine. Steven's wake will begin Wednesday at 1:00pm and last until his interment on Thursday at 517 Main Street, Springfield. Please join the family in remembrance of Steven.
