CHESTER - Sherry Lee Drost, 64, wife of Rodney Dale Drost, passed away Feb. 28, 2009, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born May 7, 1944, in Medway, the daughter of Millard and Lula (Thompson) Ireland. Sherry enjoyed planting gardens - flowers, veggies and other things. She collected ocean shells, and was an avid bird watcher.
In addition to her husband, Rodney, she is survived by a son, Brian Drost, Sr., of Chester; four grandchildren, Brian Drost, Jr., and Charlene Amber Drost, both of Montana; Willow Ann Drost and Austin Drost, both of Mattawamkeag; a sister, Linda Ireland Walls; three nieces and two nephews. Becky, Melanie, Mickey, Lisa and Jimmie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Stephen. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. |
