Sherri Marie Chamberlain-Helwig, age 40, of Lincoln, Maine, formally of Pawtucket, RI went to Heaven to be with her Dad, the late Brian D. Chamberlain, on February 4, 2010. Sherri was the daughter of Sharlene (Shelly Lambert) and Howard Black, Jr., of Lincoln, Maine. She died peacefully, with her Mom at her side, due to complications of diabetes.
She was the bride of John M. Helwig, Jr, Mom to Chelsey and a Step Mom of Theresa, Jessie, Kayla and Monica. Sherri and John were married July 19, 2009. Born December 7, 1969 in Warwick, RI she attended schools in Warwick and Pawtucket, RI. She won many spelling bees and was always spelling words for her sister. Sherri leaves her sister, Candy Chamberlain and her fiancé Timothy Pacheco and daughter Brianna of Seekonk, MA; Grandparents Constant and Florence Lambert of Coventry; many aunts, Janet Byrne, of RI, Crystal and Dale Wilson, of CA, Debbie, Pam, Sally, Sandra and Diane; Uncle Gary and Uncle Bobbie and their families. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Roland and Ethel Chamberlain and a special uncle, Jim Byrne.
A special thank you to the Lincoln Lakes Regional Dialysis Center, Health Access Network, Dr. S. John Shannon and Dr. Todd O’Brien, Penobscot Valley Hospital and their EMT team.
