SHANE EMERY DWYER
Wilton and Molunkus- Shane E. Dwyer, 33, of Wilton, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Central Maine Medical Center. Shane was born June 5, 1974 in Millinocket, the beloved son of Emery and Jean Dwyer of Molunkus.

He left the 3 most important women in his life, his wife Karri (McLaughlin) and his 2 daughters that meant everything to him, MacKenzie Ireland, 10 and Ryleigh Shane, 7. Shane has one brother that he always looked up to, Shannon Dwyer of Gray and his wife Sandi and 2 wonderful nieces, Whitney and Lilly. He will also be missed by a special grandfather Clinton Kinney and his wife Evelyn of Danforth. Mother and father-in-law Jack and Norma Thompson of Medway, brother in-law Troy Thompson and his wife Samantha of Millinocket and their children Emily, Bryce, Ayden and Nehemiah. A very special sister in-law Lacey Bourgoin and her husband Mark of Hinesville, GA. Lacey was the sister he never had.

Shane was a 1992 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln and attended Maine Maritime Academy and received his B.S. degree in Power Engineering Technology in 1996. He was employed for the last 8 years by Rumford Power and was recently promoted to Maintenance Manager, a job he loved. Shane was a huge part of the Wilton Rec. Dept. He adored working with all the kids in various sports. From his softball girls, all whom he loved as if they were his own, to his pee wee soccer team and tee ball team. His face would light up when he would talk about all his "kids". He was truly proud of each and every one of them.

He is going to be deeply missed by some very special friends who truly touched his life, Dana Underwood, Mike Earle, Justin Castagna and his best friend, Rebecca Scott.

Visiting hours will be Monday, March 3, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services to be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Community Evangel Temple, River Road, Lincoln with Pastor Tim Shaw officiating. Casual dress is requested. Shane was a jeans guy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MacKenzie and Ryleigh Dwyer Education Fund at Key Bank or left at Clay Funeral Home. Spring interment will be in Wilton at the Lakeview Cemetery.
