RUTH M. COX
EAST MILLINOCKET - Ruth M. Cox, 67, wife of Stephen Cox, passed away July 23, 2008, at her home. She was born, March 18, 1941, in Medway, the daughter of Edgar and Deborah (Caswell) O’Donal. Ruth met her husband, Steve, at church. Both being in their 30's, they were married perhaps before it became fashionable to marry later in life. Ruth loved the simple things in life and even noticed the different shades of green in the trees along the road. She liked the small flowers, and always had plants in the home. She was very good with her hands, crocheting and knitting, and made many baby outfits. She loved to do crossword puzzles and Sudoku, and enjoyed the Wheel of Fortune T.V. programs.

She was predeceased by her father, Edgar O’Donal, her mother, Deborah (Caswell) O’Donal and brothers, Wayne and Francis O’Donal. In addition to her husband, Stephen, she is survived by four brothers, Glenwood O’Donal and his wife Angie, Dale O’Donal, James O’Donal and his wife, Mary and John O’Donal and his wife, Gloria; her mother-in-law, Patricia Cox, sister-in-law, Joanne and her husband, John Beaulieu; brother-in-law, Orland Cox and his wife Bonita; sister-in-law, Betsy O’Donal; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Temple-Assembly of God, 2 Orchard Street, East Milllinocket. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Temple, with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. Interment, with private committal services for the immediate family, will be at Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
