Mary G. Cropley

DANFORTH - Mary G. Cropley, 88, wife of the late Milo Cropley, died Feb. 28, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Hersey, the daughter of Wilfred and Grace (Goodall) Gould. Mary enjoyed gardening and was a member of Extension and Garden clubs.

She is survived by a daughter, Nadine Matlock of Fort Worth, Texas; a son, Milo Cropley and his wife, Ginger, of Mars Hill; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Milo, she was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Cropley Staggs.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Root officiating. Spring interment will be at Danforth Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in her memory to a charity of choice.
