Mary E. Crone

BROOKTON - Mary E. "Sue" Crone, 84, died Aug. 4, 2008, at her home after a long illness. She was born April 10, 1924, in Brookton, daughter of Edward and Ethel (Armstrong) Clough.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Crone of Brookton; a son, Homer Clough of Topsfield; a daughter, Victoria Yarema of Houlton; four grand-sons, Christopher Clough and his wife, Ann, and their son, Waylon, of Brookton, Michael Yarema and his wife, Leslie, and their two children, Abigail and Noah, all of Presque Isle, David Yarema and Andrew Yarema, both of Portland; one sister, Esther Bradeen of Milford; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Clay Funeral Home - Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Godley officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Brookton
