ORONO - Martha Alice Benson, 75, passed away Jan 30, 2008, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born June 9, 1932, in Monroe, the daughter of Robert and Juanita (Puckett) Benson. Martha had a love of agriculture all of her life. She cherished her family. She lived at Longfellow Heights in Orono for more than 20 years until she became a nursing home resident about 2 years ago.
She is survived by two sisters, Nellie House of Lee and Dorothy Mitchell of Corinna; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road. Lincoln. Spring interment will be in Benson Family Cemetery, Grand Falls. |
