LUELLA C. DICKER
LINCOLN– Luella C. Dicker, 86, died October 26, 2007 at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Chester, October 13, 1921, the daughter of Milledge and Etta (Budge) Boyce. Luella was a graduate of Mattanawcook Academy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Center, serving in many capacities, including Sunday School Superintendent, Secretary, Treasurer, as well as Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She was also an advisor, sang in the choir, and belonged to Women’s Missionary Group. Luella was a willing worker, cleaning and painting the church.

Luella is survived by a daughter, Donna Rowley and Lee of Alton; a brother, Harmon Boyce and Dorothy of Lynn, MA; four sisters, Irene Nelson of Greensboro, NC, Viola Stoup of Lee, Bernice Kinney of Vienna, VA, Dorothea Round and David of Enfield; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Dicker; two daughters, Althea Louise and Doris Elaine; a brother, Milledge Boyce II; and a sister, Wynona Kelshaw.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, ME 04457. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Pastor Nathan Ewer officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in Luella’s name to the Penobscot Valley Humane Society. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
