Lorraine Desfosses

MEDFORD - Lorraine M. Desfosses, 66, wife of Jerry Desfosses, passed away Jan 19, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Mar 30, 1945 in St John's, Newfoundland, the daughter of James and Pearl (Tucker) Auchinleck. Lorraine enjoyed going to Bingo, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. She was most unselfish, and was a very giving person.

In addition to her husband of nearly 49 years, Jerry, she is survived by five children, Cindy Rhoads and Bob of Merrimack, N H; Danny Desfosses and Jill of Hudson, NH; Linda Smith and Gregg of Medford; Amy Guarino and Gary Gruber of Lincoln; and David Desfosses and Holly of Lagrange; six siblings, Steve Tucker of Newfoundland; Shirley Truitt of Pa; Leonard Auchinleck of Newfoundland; Raymond Petten of Newfoundland; Dale Wilson of Fla; and Harriet Petten of Newfoundland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr presiding.
