LILLIAN E. (GAGNON) DAIGLE

MEDWAY - Lillian E. (Gagnon) Daigle, 92, wife of the late Rosaire Daigle, passed away June 1, 2010, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Aug 1, 1917, in Wallagrass Plantation, the daughter of Thomas and Meddie (Duprey) Gagnon. Lillian enjoyed oil painting. She did a lot of crocheting in her younger days, and knit many mittens and stockings. She enjoyed going camping, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Dwinal Daigle and his wife, Donna, of Lincoln; a daughter, Carol Ann and her husband, LeRoy Fleming, of Medway; five grandchildren, Ann Foldesi, Candy Crandall, Lea Ann Rowell, Mark Fleming and Bruce Fleming; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold Gagnon of Millinocket, and Ellis Gagnon and his wife, Irene, of Norwich, Conn.; two sisters, Nelly Carnie of Monmouth and Ruth Coreau of Old Orchard; a sister-in-law, Diane Gagnon of Auburn; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Bernice LaBelle and her husband, Willard, and Delphine Gerold; brothers, Gilbert Gagnon and his wife, Edwina, and Lawrence Gagnon; sister-in-law, Fern Gagnon; and brother-in-law, Walter Coreau.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Myles Cyr officiating. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
