Kyma Dawn Tilton

Lincoln - Kyma Dawn (Marshall) Tilton, born in Roebling, New Jersey, youngest daughter of Adam H. and Elizabeth C. (Fowler) Marshall, on August 7, 1932, quietly passed away in EMMC on January 3, 2010. She kept busy throughout her life, happily working as a waitress, CNA and for MSAD #67.

Survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, LeRoy, her mother-in-law, Clara and her children, Elizabeth "Star" Powers, Margaret "Peggy" Smith and her husband, Brian and Toby and his wife, Elizabeth. Five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; her brother, James Marshall and his wife, Peggy; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Lil Abner. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Thomas and her spouse, Raymond, Ruth "Midge" Veino and her spouse, William; her father-in-law, Raymond and her son-in-law, Eugene Powers, Sr. Kyma was the foundation of her family, always giving of herself, helping and doing for others and will be greatly missed.

Her last wish was that instead of flowers, donations be given to the Penobscot Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 73, Lincoln, ME 04457, for the care of the animals. Services were Wednesday, January 6, at Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln.
