Kevin Sproul

WINN and DAMARISCOTTA – Kevin Edwin Sproul, 49, passed away April 13, 2011, in Lincoln. He was born Nov. 10, 1961, in Damariscotta, son of Marjory (Delano) and Samuel Sproul.

Kevin worked as a truck driver most of his life. He shared his love of the outdoors with his children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and four-wheeling. He made wonderful memories that he has left behind for his family and many wonderful friends.

Kevin is survived by Kaeley (Briggs) Sproul, his wife of 23 years; his son, Cody Adam Sproul of Pittsfield; his daughter, Cassidy Alexandria Sproul of Lincoln; two grandsons, Tegan Jacob Sproul and Deiken Cal Markie; brothers, Perry and Trish Sproul, Gerald and Vicki Sproul and twin brother, Kenny Sproul; sisters, Theresa and Bruce Mullins, Cheryl and Bill Thayer, Donna and Chuck Applebee and Pamela and Ron Lear, all of Wiscasset; mother-in-law, Rebecca Briggs; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darren and Lisa Briggs and Kristen and Dale Penney. Kevin left behind 18 nieces and nephews; as well as two special aunts, Katherine and Christine.

There will be a celebration of Kevin's life 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Dwinal Pond Clubhouse, East Winn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sproul family fund, care of Perry Sproul, at any Key Bank branch location. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
