Jacquelyn B. Carmichael

LINCOLN - Jacquelyn B. (Bailey) Carmichael, 76, wife of the late Richard G. Carmichael of Bridgewater, went home to be with her Lord peacefully, surrounded by her family, Oct 1, 2007, at Mountain Heights Health Care Facility, Patten. She was born Dec. 19, 1930, in Lincoln, the daughter of Herbert and Ida (LaBree) Bailey. She worked as a nurse in Florida and in Lincoln for more than twenty five years.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. "BA" and her husband, Loren Humphrey of Benedicta; two sons, Joseph B. Carmichael and his wife, Dorothy of Bangor, and Greggory D. Carmichael of Durham; a sister, Mona and her husband, Gerald Davis of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a niece, Stephanie Stanley and a nephew, Steve Taylor, both of Lincoln.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family give special thanks to Dr. Blagdon and to the staff at Mountain Heights Health Care .Those who wish may donate in her memory to either the activities fund at Mountain Heights or to Visiting Nurses of Aroostook. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
