Irene A. Chamberlain

HOWLAND - Irene A. Chamberlain, 72, passed away July 2, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1936, in Howland, the daughter of John and Ruby (Parker) Batchelder.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Chamberlain of Howland; two daughters, Vickie and David Neal of Enfield, and Darlene Carey of Brewer; two grandsons, Jeremy and Nicole Neal of Center Barnstead, N.H. and Jesse Carey of Brewer; a sister, Jean York of Howland; two brothers, Paul and Reta Batchelder of Norridgewock and David and Debbie Batchelder of Quinton, Va., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her Mom and Dad, she was predeceased by a sister, Alice Wickett, a brother, Earl Batchelder of Norway and a special grandson, Jacob D. Neal. She also leaves behind a special and dear friend, Flo Dudley of Howland.

At her request, there will be no viewing and no service. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
