Dear Lisa & The Rest of Penny's Loving Family: I am so sorry for your loss and heartache at this time. No words can express, nor can they take the pain away. Lisa - I know how close you and Penny were and how dearly your family all cared for each other. It's been a while since we've roamed Colonial's halls together, but you are as Penny a tremendous person. My heart goes out to you! xoxo To all of you: Please know (as I am sure that you do) how much we all shared love for Penny. She was a MORE THAN AMAZING person - with such a kind, large heart - and a smile that strikes me as brighter than any other. Passing her in the hallway at PVH she never missed a Hello, and the same smile was given the many times that she came to visit her Dad at Colonial. She will never be forgotten! A smile like her's is too bright to ever fade! = ) My thoughts and Prayers are with you, Laura Whiting

Tom , Emily and Matthew , The sorrow I feel for you is unreal. I want you to know what an impact Penny had on me but, there are no words to describe them though....from the very day we met...(which was in a waiting room when Matthew and Russell was two..for speech and O.T.) Penny and I locked eyes (while our boys were all over the place)haha...I opened up and trusted her the moment she spoke....she was the strongest mother I have ever met...we had a common bond and understood each others sorrow and struggles...she lifted me. I will miss her smile , I will miss her ability to rise above all diversity...she was an amazing girl ! She was an amazing mother and she adored you Tom!!!! Emily , I will talk to you soon when the days to come settle a bit...Penny was the only one I could turn to when my stepdad was dying of ALS...The only person I could turn to when I needed a friend I could trust to talk to regarding My Russell...I will miss you Penny , rest easy my friend you have earned it one hundred times over ....God Speed.

Hello to a very special family, I was privileged to know Penny through Matthew, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met such a wonderful lady! I remember her consistent smile for all, but was most impressed with the way she smiled lovingly at both Emily and Matthew. While I admire her in many ways, her "Mom" skills are what I always considered to be one of her very greatest attributes! She seemed to love her children so much, and received the same love from them in return. She has left a lasting imprint on my mind, and in my heart, and I know many others also will continue to benefit from her example. Thank-you for being such a loving, supportive family for her. She was, obviously, loved very, very much! Her love for her entire family always seemed so evident! Her parents are lucky to have her back, and this world was fortunate to have been gifted with her for 44 years! I hope that all will celebrate her life, and remember fond memories of her, which will make each person smile, as she taught us to do so well! I just have to smile when I think of her, even now. She was just one of those special people! She will be sadly missed! Sending thoughts and prayers to Tom, Matthew, Emily, and her entire family. With warmest regards, Beth Mac Donald
