Sid, David and Betty:

I just found out about Hazel's passing. I wish I had known it sooner so I could have at least come down for the visiting hours at the funeral home. I am so sorry to hear that she passed away but I know she is at peace and with the loved ones who had gone on before.

Betty, Sid, and David, I am so sorry for the lose of your mother. I feel a great lady has left us but she is in a much better place and she is with Ralph again. Growing up, her door was always open to all of us "kids" in the neighborhood. It was like home, away from home. So many memories, made special by your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and the days to come. Love you all, Kay

Sid, Betty, and David,
Mrs. Davis was such a part of our lives in the Dorrity home even after we left Enfield, she will be missed so much. There was never a time that it was a bad time to visit, always a little snack with the words “You sit down, right here, and let me fix you a little something to eat”. There were many lessons learned over the years for all of our children in her home.
I so much can feel your loss. Memories of Mrs. Davis and her special way will always be cherished. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your wonderful family.
Tonight and all the days to come when we look up in the heavens there will be a bright star shining, smiling, and looking down on each of us. We, without question, will know it is Mr. and Mrs. Davis together again.
And when I see that star I can’t help but think of a very young man who would always tell Mom and Dad where he had been……. “I was over at Mr. Davis and Mr. Davis house and I had a big breakfast”. (not an error, it was Mr. and Mr. to a 4 or so year old!!)
Love to all,
bill
