My sincere sympathy to Edith's family. Although it has been many years since we, as a family, have been together, I remember all too well the great days we had as children at Uncle Kenneth's and Aunt Edith's camp on Cold Stream. She also encouraged me, along with my Aunt Marjorie, to pursue teaching and here I am, still in the profession, 42 years later. Will never forget Edith's several calls to me when I was sick with cancer. She was a very special, caring person. May the many wonderful memories of her life keep her alive in our hearts.

Dear Iris and Family:
I feel pretty sad today finding out Edith has passedd. She was like another Grandmother to me. My childhood went along way back to Cold Stream at camp from the time I was just a small child. I guess Uncle Alton was on leave from the Air force and when he was home, it was always at camp.
My thoughts are with you. I'm sure she will have a nice send off this weekend. I have many many memories to hold on to, Fishing, playing cards, camp time, OH, those where the days, Edith was loved by many. Hugs, Danny

I was saddened to read about Edith's passing. She was a good friend when we lived and taught in Lincoln.((1971-1974) Being from the valley was a special connection for us. She befriended us when we first arrived and made us feel right at home. She was great person. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Claire
