Rodney and Family I,m so sorry to learn of Donna's passing. Durning the time that i cared for Vernley, Donna and Joe were like my second family they were very giving and loving people. She adorded her family and it showed in the way she done and cared for them. Anyone who know Donna and Joe were very lucky, once you meet then you had a friend for life. It's not going to be the same not meeting Donna out and about. She is now with her husband and her son and Jesus and very happy. Your family is looking down on you Rodney and I know that they are and always have been very proud of you. May God be with you all durning this time. You will be in my thoughts and prays. Love Brenda, Garnet, Eric, Joyce and Rusty

Donna Cyr, a great loving lady, a 2nd Grandmother to me in many ways when I was little. Memories of her & her husband Joe forever with me from my youth. Their legacy was first with Vernley, then passed on to Rodney and now with Caitlin and Tyler. Forever touching everyone hearts through all that their great grandchildren do is their way of forever living on. Rodney, my friend of many years, even though we are out of touch, I hope you, Holly and your children are strong in knowing your family reunites now in Heaven, that they continue to be your guardian angels from above. Look at your children and see they are with you always as you have passed on to them the love they have for you. God Bless and Take Care- Cherie, Donald, Emillie & Lacie Buckingham

Dear Rodney, Hollie & Family..As well as Donna's immediate family members, I first met Donna & Joe back in 1969-1970 through their son, Vernley. They were such happy, warm people. They owned a second-hand shop at that time in Lincoln; which they greatly enjoyed and called the North Road home. Joe loved his " little roosters" and Donna her salt and pepper shaker collections. I can still see them smiling and laughing and Donna calling Joe, " Levi " and then " Joseph" when she was put out with him but I always saw great love between them. Joe always said I was supposed to be his daughter-in-law, I always told him , " No , I would have ______ your son! " Then we'd laugh. For Vern held the spirit of both his parents, a spirit that was endeared to many in his lifetime. One I will never forget, one Albert will never either. We loved Joe, Donna and Vernley like our own family. We all have very special memories of our younger days together, then our married days; racing, building and lovin' the classic cars & raising you, Rodney and Cherie like brother and sister ( Joe and Donna taking you to Santa Claus' Village...I must have loved them to let them take my first baby girl out of state!), the joy they had in helping others with the Lee food-cupboard,and as years passed we loved them until they left us ; even when we were not together and then we love them still. We can only imagine the joy in Heaven as they reunited with each other and those they lost before them. Being free of all afflictions, Your Dad /Vern walking again...I am sure as much as we all miss them...they miss us too. Thank the Lord we have the hope to see them again some day and until then know that love transcends all universes and they are with us always. Good, kind, generous and spirited people. " Thank you Lord for putting them in our lives. Watch over Rodney James, as he lays his dear Grandmother to rest and give him the peace of ' knowing " Lord, just knowing so that he may share it with his own children and family. To all who knew and loved the Cyr family; Joe, Donna and Vernley...you were blessed. You do not have to look far to see some of each of them just look to Rodney and there they'll be. Love you Rodney James and yours as well. Love, Belinda and Albert & Families

I was so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I have enjoyed the last year that I have had an opportunity to spend visiting with her on Fridays. She had a kind spirit and loved the Lord. She is with Jesus and free of her health problems. Her presence will be missed by those she left behind.
