MACWAHOC – Frank L. "Pucky" Joy, 76, passed away June 10, 2011, at a Brewer health care facility. He was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Macwahoc, the son of Carroll and Tyra (Smith) Joy.
Pucky was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver by trade. He is survived by three brothers, Henry of Crystal, Jerry of Georgia and David of Fredericton, New Brunswick; a sister, Jillian Oliver of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by eight siblings, John, Edith, Herbert, Jimmie, Doris, Freddy, Betty and Sally; as well as his longtime companion, Joann Pratt. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Old Macwahoc Cemetery. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. |
