Floyd Eugene Muncey, Sr.

DANFORTH - Floyd E. Muncey Sr. died Aug. 25, 2008, at a Houlton nursing home. He was born Feb. 12, 1922, in Danforth, son of Eugene W. and Marian Elizabeth (Kinney) Muncey. Floyd enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by five children, Vina Walden and her husband, Hugh, of Slidell, La., Marie Lowe and her husband, Glenn, of Bangor, Floyd E. Muncey Jr. of Houlton, Leo Muncey and his wife, Belinda, and Bert Muncey, all of Danforth; two sisters, Constance McEwen and Diana Lowe, both of Danforth; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, seven sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Muncey.

Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce McEwen officiating. Burial will be private.
