Woodville - Eugene Francis Kailer, 77, husband of Dolores (Johnson) Kailer, died June 30, 2008, at Maine Veteran’s Home, Bangor. He was born July 29, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Birch Ambrose and Edith (French) Kailer. Eugene was a good man who did his best and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Dolores, of Woodville, he is survived by five children, Charles Kelley Kailer, of New York, Deborah "Debbie" Pilat, of Pennsylvania, Michael Patrick Kailer and Michelle "Shelley" Kailer, both of Maryland and Robert Kailer, of Florida; six grandchildren; best friends, Dana and Nancy Day and their family, of Woodville. Services will be private. Those who wish may donate, in his memory, to the Maine Veteran’s Home-Activities Fund, 44 Hogan Rd., Bangor, ME 04401.
