ELSIE (CARR) DUPLISEA
Lincoln - Elsie (Carr) Duplisea died Nov. 2, 2008, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 1, 1928, the daughter of Lyman and Lucy Carr. She graduated from Lee Academy and Madigan Memorial School of Nursing in Houlton. She worked as a registered nurse at the Lincoln Hospital on Lee Street, the Mt. Edgecomb Medical Center in Sitka, Alaska, and as a nurse and then nursing supervisor at Penobscot Valley Hospital, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald "Pat" Duplisea, Sr., of Lincoln; three sons, Gerald, Jr and Roxanne, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Patrick and Mary, of North Pole, Alaska and Eric, of Lincoln; grandchildren, Heather, Carrie and her husband Michael, Mike and his wife, Eliza, Derrick and his wife, Melynda, Mindy, Ryan and his wife Debbie and Kylie Staley; great grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Katie, Kayla, Zoe, Caleb, Krystal, Derrick, Jr. and Sydney; a brother, Roy Carr and his wife, Dora, of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. Elsie was prdeceased by her parents and sisters, Carolyn Bianco, Amber Mulligan, Joyce McCormack and a brother, Justin Carr.

At Elsie’s request, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln.
