Dennis G. Cummings III

East Millinocket - Dennis E. Cummings, 78, husband of Ramona (Mushero) Cummings, went to be with his Lord May 6, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 3, 1930, in Middletown, CT, the son of Dennis G. Cummings, Jr and Mary Catherine (Young) Cummings. Dennis was a U.S. Navy veteran, was active in the Calvary Temple Assembly of God, East Millinocket. He was a servant of God who always had a smile on his face. He retired from Great Northern Paper Company.

In addition to his wife, Ramona, he is survived four children, David Cummings and his wife, Lois, of Virgilina, VA, Vicki Benton and her husband, Dan, of Waterbury, CT, Richard Powers and his wife, Karen, of Lincoln and Bonnie Buller and her husband, Darryl, of Severn, MD; a brother, Dean Cummings and his wife, Fern, of Lowell; a sister, Eleanor Lowe and her husband, Everett, of Lincoln; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God, East Millinocket. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, at the church, with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations, in his memory, may be made to the Building Fund at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket, ME 04462. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
