Charles Nelson Sr

Lincoln - Charles Earl Nelson, Sr., 69, died December 13, 2011, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born February 2, 1942, in Bridgewater, the son of Earl "Timmy" and Grace (Weeks) Nelson. Charles enjoyed driving truck for a living. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved watching the Celtics and loved watching the Patriots get their asses kicked.

He is survived by seven children, Charles "Tim" Nelson, Jr and his wife, Beth, of Lincoln, Cindee Nelson, of Connecticut, Bill Nelson and his wife, Raeann, Guy "Bub" Nelson and his wife, Melissa and Andrea Pelkey and her husband, Yancey, all of Lincoln, Ernest "Lee" Connors and his girlfriend, Donna, of Topsfield and Tina Ham, of Princeton; 19 grandchildren, Timothy, Chase, Avarie, Camryn, Katie, Kemper, Brett, Sophia, Natalie, Grace, Ethan, Ahneah, Dustin, Matthew, Craig, Kirstin, Lindsay, Courtney and Tyler; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert "Bob" Nelson; and a sister, Peggy Nelson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Donna and Pat "Trisha"; and a son-in-law, Bryon "Bones" Ham.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, December 15, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. There will be no funeral.
