F. Robert Hall

Lincoln - F. Robert "Bob" Hall, 91, husband of the late Viola (Phinney) Hall, died December 20, 2007, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. He was born November 29, 1916, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of Francis "Frank" and Dorothy (Sawtell) Hall.

A graduate of Mattanawcook Academy, Bob worked in Lincoln for many years as a mechanic and welder for Smart’s. He was a member of Horeb Lodge #93 AF & AM in Lincoln and the Lincoln United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife of 68 years, Viola, he was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Frederick and Douglas. He is survived by three sons, David Hall, of Lincoln, Bruce Hall and his wife Rhonda, of Sutton, Mass. and Brian Hall and his wife Shannon, of Enfield; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a close niece, Christine Harlan and her husband, Jim, of New Jersey; many special nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held in the Spring. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln.
