Betty Jordan

MATTAWAMKEAG - Betty Ann Jordan, 66, passed away June 28, 2010 at her home. Born June 22, 1944 in Portland, she was the daughter of Harland and Bernice (Jipson) Rogers. Betty enjoyed her family and friends, and she attended the Lincoln Center Church of God.

She is survived by two children and their spouses, Roger Jordan, Jr. and Lisa of Mattawamkeag, and Rhonda Fraser and Chuck of Newburgh; their father, Roger Jordan, Sr., of Mattawamkeag; three grandchildren, Cody Jordan, Taylor Jordan and Benjamin LaFountaine; a great-grandson, Koby LaFountaine; "adopted" daughter, Gina Tash of Chester and her daughters, Kaylan and Haley: several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev. Gerald Craig officiating. There will be a gathering at the VFW Hall in Lincoln Center, after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Lincoln Center Church of God. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
