BARBARA LOUISE (JIPSON) FOGG

LINCOLN - Barbara Louise (Jipson) Fogg passed away March 2, 2010, at Colonial Health Care, Lincoln, just one week before her 81st birthday. She was born March 9, 1929, the daughter of Beatrice (Bonney) and Claude Jipson Sr. Barbara, known to most as Bobbie, worked for several years as a cook at Ella P. Burr School, then part time at Lounsbury's Supermarket, Lincoln, before retiring to be a full-time homemaker. Although her first love was caring for her husband, Lyndon, her family and her home; she was also an accomplished cook, seamstress, quilter and crafter. She and Lyndon enjoyed their cottages at Little Narrows and Burlington, camping trips with friends, their pug dogs, and especially times spent with family. She was always generous with her time and talents.

In 2005, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Lyndon E. Fogg. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her two children and their spouses, Claudette and Christopher Bean of Skowhegan and Jeff and Cindy Fogg of Lincoln; four grandchildren and their spouses, Amy (Bean) and Patrick Kelliher of Chelmsford, Mass., Lynn Ann (Bean) and Bartley Ingram of Lamoine, Desiree Fogg and Matthew Lindsay of Benedicta and Dustin Fogg of Lincoln; four great-grandchildren, Samuel and Benjamin Ingram, Matthew and Elizabeth Kelliher; sister, Donna Avery and husband, Seth, of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Douglas Jipson and wife, Christine, of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie was predeceased by her brother, Claude Jipson Jr. and his wife, Dallas; her sister, Leola Tibbetts and her husband, Ben; her sister, Priscilla Hinrichs; and her nephew, Benjamin Tibbetts Jr.

A graveside service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colonial Health Care Deck Construction Project, P.O. Box 70, Lincoln, ME 04457. Arrangements are with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
