MATTAWAMKEAG- Avis M. Boyce, 87, died Feb. 15, 2008 at a Lincoln nursing home. She was born Aug. 5, 1920 in Monticello the daughter of Mert and Mandy (Bulley) Hothan. Avis loved being with her family. She also loved to do crafts and crocheting.
She is survived by a son, Lloyd Boyce and his wife Cheryl and a daughter, Nina Wortman, all of Macwahoc; two grandsons and one grand daughter; one brother and one sister; she was also survived by two very close friends, Dwight Osgood and Tammy Osgood. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilmont Boyce. Graveside services will held in the spring at Macwahoc Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in Avis’s memory to a charity of choice. Arrangements are with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. |
